Safari Overview & Highlights
This four-day itinerary combines a Tarangire visit with two days in the central Serengeti and a final visit to the Ngorongoro area. It is a suggested route for 2027 to 2028; the best routing and accommodation depend on your travel dates, availability and current conditions.
The Great Migration is a natural movement shaped by rainfall and grazing. Herd locations change through the year, and no specific wildlife sighting or migration event can be guaranteed. Your written proposal will confirm the route, accommodation, transport, meals, park fees, inclusions and exclusions before booking.
Planning note: The itinerary combines Tarangire and central Serengeti within the first two days. Ask the safari planner to confirm driving time, departure arrangements and whether the route suits your arrival schedule.
Day 01: Arrival and Tarangire National Park
Meet your safari team on arrival in Arusha, then continue to Tarangire for a wildlife drive among open savannah and baobab country. The exact arrival, transfer and game-drive schedule will be confirmed around your flight details.
Day 02: Tarangire to Central Serengeti
Travel from the Tarangire area toward the central Serengeti, with the day’s timing and stops planned around road conditions and park arrangements. Enjoy a game drive as time allows after reaching the Serengeti.
Day 03: Central Serengeti Game Drives
Spend the day exploring the central Serengeti with game drives in areas chosen according to current conditions. Your guide can discuss the day’s route and wildlife viewing opportunities; sightings remain subject to nature.
Day 04: Ngorongoro and Departure
Travel toward Ngorongoro for the planned visit, then continue to Arusha or your onward departure point. Confirm whether a crater descent is included, along with park fees, schedule and transfer arrangements, in the final itinerary.
No overnight stay: Continue to Arusha or your onward departure point after the Ngorongoro visit.
